Returning to Africa
In 2025 we will return to the African continent for the first time since the pandemic, with our HIV Cure: Antiretroviral Therapy-Free Control of HIV Infection conference, in Durban, South Africa on April 7-10, 2025. The conference will bring global research leaders to the region, aiming to increase the accessibility and impact of HIV research to those in most need. See highlights in the video below.

Facing Threats of Climate Change
In June we will be hosting our first conference on Climate Change and Human Health, focusing on infectious disease threats. The Climate Change & Infectious Disease Threats meeting, in Hannover, Germany on June 23-26, 2025, will explore global impacts, surveillance and mitigation strategies to protect vulnerable populations around the world from these growing threats. The meeting will assemble biomedical, clinical, technological, epidemiological, and global health experts to collectively and holistically tackle this global challenge.
