ECITAs Provide Funding for Early-Career Investigators from Diverse Backgrounds to Attend Conferences

This month we are featuring our Early-Career Investigator Travel Award initiative that aims to increase the success of early-career investigators from underrepresented backgrounds at the assistant professor or government, non-profit, etc., scientist equivalent level. ECITAs provide $1,200 to help defray conference expenses, including registration, ground/air transportation, and lodging for in-person attendance at a Keystone Symposia conference, where emerging researchers benefit from critical opportunities to:

  • establish new collaborations
  • gain exposure for their research
  • network informally with colleagues
  • meet with prospective postdoctoral candidates
  • invaluable career-advancement opportunities

We are now accepting ECITAs applications for 2022 conferences!
