Keystone Symposia’s flagship Fellows Program is looking for its next cohort of rising scientists in the biological or biomedical sciences research field. This special programming is designed to support the career development of postdoctoral and early-career scientists. Established in 2009, the Fellows Program is a premier professional advancement opportunity for next-generation scientists, providing support tailored to meet the unique challenges at these pivotal career stages. Keystone Fellows benefit from unique networking and training opportunities and participate in conversations at the forefront of biology with academic, industry and government thought leaders from around the world. Fellows engage directly with eminent scientists from our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) through a variety of formats including immersion in three SAB meetings and presenting their work to the SAB, and one-on-one mentorship tailored to the Fellow’s career trajectory and professional goals. In addition, monthly “Fellows Friday” virtual meetings provide Fellows with expert advice on essential topics such as grant writing, tenure strategies, publishing, mentorship and more.

Project Manager & Program Specialist, Scientific Programming
Jill Abrell holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan and brings a strong foundation in program coordination, communication, and public engagement from her previous work in the education field. At Keystone Symposia, she coordinates the Scientific Advisory Board meetings to support the development of Keystone Symposia’s conference portfolio, in addition to coordinating mentorship programming, such as Career Roundtables and the Keystone Symposia Fellows Program.
